A Sweet Welcome to SF
My awesome half, Maybelle, put together a wonderful welcome party for me Friday night at Yield, a nifty little wine bar near the ballpark. It was a great welcome to spend an evening with friends, have a little wine and grub, and talk stories.
This little critter became the dish of the night. Everyone raved about it.
And I’ll be raving about this lil’ critter a lot: the wonderful hostess with mostest, personal food connoisseur, my woman and not yours, Maybelle (maybelly.tumblr.com).

While sorting through years of stuff before my move, I came across these critters — little alien chess pieces I made in high school art class. Most of the pieces are damaged. “Scars,” my girlfriend says, “It gives the little guys character.”
